I was a bit confused by it when they last had it but figured it out in the end. Basically have a bet on the game as you would(before K.O), take for example a 50e bet on over 2.5 goals(just for example).

Then in the in play market put another 50e down on another bet. If that bet looses they will credit the 50e in play bet back to your account. If it wins, its as if the offer never existed. So basically it's a risk free bet on an in play market, not exactly the ''free bet'' they describe.

Paddy Power are refunding bets if rooney scores anytime on the usual markets. Might have a few small wager in the hope of getting refund at least. Would need see team sheets though like will Hernadez and Balloteli start? They might both go one up front.

Lads can someone please explain this offer, im kinda confused.
Is it scenario A:
Bet €50 before match.
Then bet €50 in play and get it refunded if you lose.
Leaving a worst case scenario of -€50

or

Scenario B:
Bet €50 before match.
Then you get a free €50 in play which will be refunded if you lose.
Leaving a worst case scenario of +/-0.

I think its A but if someone could confirm that would be great.

I put €50 on over 11 corners in the game (tip from Yardie) at 2.0. So I'm assuming when the game starts, I'll get a message with a free €50 bet??

No you won't(I availed of the same offer before). You will have to put another 50e down in play(of your own sports balance). If it loses you get the 2nd 50e stake(the in-play bet stake) back into your a/c.
It doesn't work like PP free bets where the free bet is applied to your a/c like a token. You won't get any messages or prompts.

€11.50 profit anyway thanks to Balotelli!! Don't see Rooney getting 2 though so I think the free bet is dead in the water! Had to go for a wild bet with the free bet though, couldn't resist. Fingers crossed for 2 United penalties anyway...
