    ON monday and tuesday this week they offered this special , where if you back a horse and didnt take a price and it sp'd at 7-1 they would pay you 14-1 . Seems decent to me . Any opinions ?

    They did it on a 3/1 shot today, paid it at 6/1.

    Few obvious things, to benefit one needs to
    - pick a winner
    - not take a price (not easy if you fancy it as you may expect others to fancy it too)
    - the winner must return at the stated off SP

    Of course it may actually influence some people to back horses at the offer price so they have a greater chance of "benefiting"
