Migraine post-filling?

I had a cavity on one of my lower molars filled yesterday and while it wasn't an overly pleasant experience it was fine. I took some ibuprofen last night when the anesthetic wore off as I was quite swollen and sore.

I slept all night and when I woke up I felt slightly bruised around the gum but the tooth itself felt fine. Then this afternoon I developed a slight headache which I took ibuprofen for but they had no effect.

The headache had continued to worsen and I'm feeling quite consumed by it at the moment. The reason why I think it's a migraine is because I can't tolerate noise not just loud noises, any kind of noise. I'm ok with light though.

I have a history if persistent aura migraine which I am on medication for but I've never had in isolated migraine so it's difficult for me to identify it.

I will obviously be calling my dentist in the morning if this continues but for the time-being I just wanted to know if this would be a common complaint and if there's anything I should be doing or avoid doing?

Sound like a coincidence TBH. Post hoc ergo propter hoc.

I had to return to the dentist today, the headache subsided but I haven't been able to open my mouth fully or eat on that side. Turns out it's my wisdom tooth that's causing the problems.

I had a descale done on Tuesday too so all the routing around must have sparked off the infection. Antibiotics for me! :(
