    Hi all,

Normally I would go lamping with a friend of mine but im now thinking of getting an Led Lenser for those nights when your on your own. Iv heard of a lot of people using the P7 mounted on the rifle . I have also heard of people using the M7r . Just asking for peoples opinion on which one would suit best for Lamping bunnies as well as any charlie that might come my way

    Thanks lads,

    GH.

Go for the m7r ,it is fully rechargable so save a few quid on batteries and has more lumens of power, like the p7 it can be scope mounted and you can buy filters for it.I have 2, one on the scope on the .223 and one i use for scanning that just goes back into the pocket when im taking the shot.
The land i shoot the fields wouldnt be massive so the m7r is fine for scanning but if you are scanning vast areas and taking 250 + yard shots you will need something with a bit more power

there is no doubt the Led Lensers are a great torch but i dont think they get nearly as much eyeshine back from a fox or rabbit as the likes of a lightforce or similar. but saying that ive yet to see the M7R in action.

I have a P7 and find it is best when the night is pitch dark,if there's moonlight it isn't half as effective.
