Buying Titleist Online

I've had my eye on a 910H for a while and hope to pick one up online maybe early next year. Had a look today and it seems you can't buy these or presumably other Titleist products online without calling or doing so in person. Not sure when this came about. They don't won't even display the price. Anyone know the reasons behind this?

AFAIK Titleist followed the Ping route of not allowing ordering on-line and went one further by taking their products from viewing on European site.
Crazy for the consumer but I'd imagine it's a Titleist's way of protecting their pricing/revenues/profits.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Golfstoreeurope.com don't seem to have any Titleist clubs listed now. So I guess that means you pay Irish prices or nothing. Before this they had the 910H on for around €190 including the wrench. That's about €30 cheaper than McGuirks(without the wrench).

I think that the Titleist online policy only applies to their current range. Clearance items and last season's replaced models will still be available to buy online. If the 910H is due to be replaced this winter, you may get a nice online bargain yet :)
The policy applies to clubs only. Footwear, bags, balls etc can still be offered online.

I recently bought a 910D2 off Golfstoreeurope. If email sales@golfstoreeurope.com and tell them what you want, they'll get back to you with your price.

It started about a month ago ,its obviously a price fixing operation.
Of course Titleist have no problem selling online in the US ,us Europeans are too thick to choose the correct equipment,we need professional help.

As far as i know the reason Ping and Titleist do this is to stop the fakes, if you cant buy it on line then it can't be fake, plus they all want you to go for a custom fit. I think a few of the other big brands will follow suit and try and drive the fakes out of the market.
