    Hey,

Anyone else doing this race or has done it before?

Will be doing the Challenge course on saturday and looks like it should be a bit of craic - weather permitting:)

planning on going to watch the buddy this year, so hopefully its dry!! best of luck!!, derval devaney ( prob the best female adventure racer around) is doing it aswell, so if it's attracting the likes of her it must have some thing going for it!!

Did this race yesterday. The weather was brutal but the race was brilliant. Seriously well organised and the best craic. There was alot in it for the serious racer and Trevor Woods who it last year did it again. The ascent up Coom Hill was a killer but the second run was great. Really well marked out and stewarded....felt sorry for them in the pouring rain but they were in great form. I heard Derval Devaneywas to do it but was injured at her last race so she didn't make it but there was some seriously good racers. The assault course at the end was brilliant...apparently the two lads who organised the race built it themselves...it was class, a bit difficult to hold the balance on seriously tired legs but a great finish. Soup, drinks oranges bananas and the lot at the finish line and free physios. Great event. Will definately do it next year again. Apparently it was a lot bigger this year than last year which is great to see as theres nothing the same as it in the south Well done to all involved
