Has anyone else had bother with the birthday discount Awear are offering until this Friday (20th Oct) - when I entered the code WEARETHREE as advised by their email I was still charged full price!!! When I contacted Awear online to query this, in their first reply they advised that I needed to enter the previously mentioned code which I replied I had and then in what I felt was a brush off they replied saying they checked my order and that the O2 Treats discount had been applied - obviously using invisible text as neither myself or my bank seem to have noticed!!
I will be returning my order in full which amounts to approx €200 due to my shoddy treatment. No apology. No offer to apply the discount in the form of a credit note or anything! This would not happen on ASOS.com any wonder I mainly shop there!!

A-Wear has been sold to a UK group called Hilco who specialise in distressed restructuring.

Awear have since been in touch (after I threatened to go public - the power of the forums like this!!) and offered me my full discount! I'll let you know how I get on!

Just wondering why you still went ahead with the purchase even though the discount wasn't applied??

Were you trying to apply 2 discounts at once? Most retailers don't allow this.

The discount was around the same amount as the VAT and in my haste I didn't realise! Stupid I know but in my opinion that is not the point for the sake of customer service they should have come straight back and offered the discount! :p
