SHOPPING IN DUBAI

    Im going to Dubai in a couple of months for a week and iI was wondering if anybody could give me information about shopping there. I have heard that there are stores that we have here H&M, Debenhams that sort of thing, are they much cheaper than here?

    Any information about shopping there would be appreciated.

    The Uk high street stores are a little less expensive than here.
    High end designer gear is cheaper, but what is massively expensive here is just expensive here.
    I have visited Dubai 7 times and have really not brought a huge amount home.
    The one thing that is reasonable is gold and diamonds. We bought a diamond ring for 3k over there and was valued in Dublin for 6k.
    I would head to the gold souk for this, plenty of taxis around and cheap to get you from hotel and back. The one key word in the souk is haggle, you can usually get them down to about half the first price they mentioned.
