Anyone know what the average rate for a plumber call out charge is in Cork?

what are they calling out for... They usually give you a rough estimate on the phone and confirm when they arrive.

I assume he is looking to get a small job done. If I could charge for doing qoutes, it's all I would do.

Ring around, give description of what you need and ask for an estimated charge. If it's something like a boiler break down an estimat can't be given but an hourly rate can be.
