What kind of monitor / TV are you looking for ?

Compupac, Expert, Tahenys , McDonaghs there is a thread about tesco's clearing a lot of non Soarview TVs so you could use almost any flat panel TV as a monitor just look for VGA on the box.

Also adverts and donedeal are usually worth checking.

OP you will undoubtedly save money buying one online. The links below take you directly to the relevant monitor page on both sites. I regularly use these sites for ordering PC components/peripherals ect and they're pretty good.

What size monitor would you be after? And would you be using it for gaming or just normal computer usage

I have an old one at home, that I'm doing nothing with. There's nothing special about it, just a regular dell monitor, about 5/6 years old. if you're interested, PM me.
