    Hi guys,
Was just wondering what the official rule is with the cash table and leaving it. Aka abusing it.

I've seen quite a few people abuse it. Like going for a fag or to the "toilet" every 4 mins. Personally I couldnt care what they do. But got me curious ... whats the official ruling?

Like say you had someone who leaves the table every 3-4 mins ... and wonders off for 5 mins (or more) at a time. Is there a rule against that?

No there is no offical rule against it, it's your money you can do whatever you like!.

Most casinos will have rules if there is a waiting list in operation. I worked as a dealer previously and the ruling was always upon missing the BB 3 times in a row the players chips would be lifted. However players were free to jump in and out as much as they wanted once they didn't miss 3 BB in a row but would have to post blinds in order to get dealt in again out of position.
This is just 1 casino and it usually differs. If the player is recognized as a regular or just known there is usually no penalty.

Not correct. Players deliberately missing/skipping blinds should face a penalty of having to post to rejoin.
