    Hey guys and girls!

Im having some dental issues! Im an adult now(young adult) at that! And while i had regular dental treatment as a child i never got braces as i never needed them ! But now i have a problem! My mouth is overcrowded :( Ive noticed certain teeth are being pushed out of line and i keep getting cavities inbetween my teeth(despite flossing).
I think this is because my teeth are so crowded everyday brushing does not fully clean them because the gaps are so tight between my teeth! I ofter break dental floss trying to floss between teete ! Ive had two fillings inbetween my two upper front teeth already, and i can see another cavity in the front of my teeth! Its that bad you dont need to be a dentist to see the cavities :(

My question is? what can i do? Do i need braces? is there another procedure i could use to solve this issue? Its beggining to affect my apperance(looks like i have uneven teeth :() and more importantly i keep getting cavities and in terrible places like my front teeth :(

    Any advice?

Having crowded teeth is a very small factor in getting dental decay. Even flossing or not flossing is not the most important thing.... The main reason for getting decay between your teeth is regular intake of sugar.
You can have the most crowded and dirty teeth and not get decay (you may get gum disease though) and you can have the straightest and cleanest teeth and have lots of decay....!

The difference is regular sugar intake bathing the mouth in sugar constantly.

What is your diet like, sweets, fizzy drinks, sugar in tea or coffee???

It would be mad to put braces on a patient with active decay issues....

    OS

Thanks for the advice ! I cant say i eas alot of sugar! But then again i probly do without realising !!
But i would still like to get my teeth straightened as they are getting worse and i dont want to spend my life with bad teeth when everyone else has perfect ones! What can i do? I dont really want braces at this stage? Is there another option ?:(:o

If you need fillings or maybe crowns- some cosmetic shade, shape and positioning can be changed somewhat with this treatment but it all really depends on how crowded your teeth are to see if this is possible.
Either way, sounds like you need the fills etc...
