nissan primera 2004 keyfobs

    my nissan primera 2004 canot be lock/unlock using my keyfobs.changed the battery still would not lock.left it park in the street unlock please help:(

    Well first of all there is no need to leave it unlocked, on the passenger side door handle, the plastic piece(that doesn't move, if that makes sense) pops off to reveal a normal key hole to manually lock the car.


    To program the keys after changing the battery just put them in the ignition, turn it on(don't start the car) and then press and hold the lock and unlock buttons for approx 10 seconds at a time while the key is still in the ignition.
    Try that a couple of times and they should work.

    okay thanks for the help,did let my friends car to park behind me to at least make it safe.:o I will try that tomorrow,afraid of the dark lol...Thanks again :o:o

    I have repaired many of these Nissan fobs. The most common remedy is that the battery holder needs to be resoldered onto the pcb.
