Heading to Rome in March for the marathon. Any advice on where to stay which will be near start? Nothing too upmarket but clean and well located please. Any words of wisdom from anyone who has done this one? Thanks

The underground is really good and easy to use if you can't get anything close to the start line

I spent a week in Rome at the end of August. So wish I was going back there for the marathon in March.

Heard there are 146 Irish taking on Rome Marathon on 18th March. It will be a great Paddy's Day with the rugby and the marathon that weekend! Good luck to the other 145!
