Is it worth braving this icy cold weather to listen to the late great Kurt Cobains missus talk to the Phil? Anyone down there who can tell me if it's busy? I'm in bed, cosy and warm, while the GMB is stoney and grey. Decisions!

You missed a great talk, but at that time the queue was long enough that you probably wouldn't have made it in anyway!

Around 7.15pm the queue was to the steps of the dining hall.

What exactly was she talking about?

Icy cold weather? You were obviously too young to remember the great freeze of '10. 15 miles in the snow..

I remember alright. That cruel season of slippery hell isn't easily forgotten.

Didn't venture out in the end; Jesus himself wouldn't have got me outta the leaba. Half sorry I missed it, but by the sound of things, I would have been left standing outside like a dud anyway. Meh, I'll catch her next time.

Anyone care to give me a run-down of what she said? What specific topics were raised?

She removed her tampon in front of the girl assigned to chaperone her around all day. Cracking lady.

She basically rambled for 2 hours about anything and everything that came into her head. She did talk for a bit about what it was like to live here and attend Trinity in the 1980's, though, which was interesting, and she was surprisingly articulate and erudite for someone who has mostly been portrayed as a crackwhore.
