This is rediculus, every stop I check has every bus marked 'Due'. Very strange. Gonna do a re-install.

Ok I updated my 3GS to iOS 5 and re-installed the Dublin bus app. It still shows due for every bus at every stop. This is getting annoying as I've been waiting for this app to become a reality for years.

Just something worth checking. Is there an issue with the time on your phone? Not set to the correct time-zone or is DST off?

Check that the time is set to the 24 hour clock also.

Given the general dampness today, are some systems 'confused'?

    What stops are you checking?

The time is working perfectly. I use it as an alarm clock and the time zone is set to Dublin.

No I have it set to 12 hour time. I'll try changing it to 24 hour and let you know. It will have to wait until the morning since there are no buses running at the moment.

I'm sorry to hear your having the same issue but at least I know I'm not alone. We can work together to figure this out. What iPhone do you have an what version of iOS. I just installed the app on my iPad but I won't be able to check if I have the same problem until the buses start in the morning.

had the app before ios 5 and didnt work then

just looking at it now it says the "51" is due at everystop while others have no service (giving the time of course)

I have checked the stops that I use regulary as well as a random sellection of stops across greater Dublin always with the same result, the list of buses for that stop all showing 'Due' no matter how many times I refresh the data.

Today has been desperate weather but I have been trying to get this working for a week now.

on iphone on every stop just says due

no a weather thing... just the app doesnt seem to sync with the website on the data !

can use full website on iphone and get info no problem though

Thanks man it is working now once I changed the time format.

I'd seen someone else report that problem on the Dublin Bus twitter site - glad to see it's working now!

For some reason you must use the 24-hour clock format.

Yeh the data the iPhone is getting is a timestamp of when the bus is due to arrive. The app then has to make the calculation about how many minutes are left (if any). If your clock is set wrong the times will be wrong. Another odd design decision from DB...

Well to be fair that is not DB - that's their app designers, Biznet.

RTI seems not to be working online for a whole bunch of stops/routes at the moment.

Anyone aware whether these glitches get fixed quickly these days?

Ed: Seems to have been fixed in the 10 mins it took me to have a shower!

From the DB facebook page this morning:
    DublinBusNews
RTPI is still experiencing difficulties after yesterdays system outage, we are working on fully restoring the info as soon as possible
