Tenerife in December?

Booked the GroupOn deal this morning and partnered it with some Ryanair flights for the first week in December.

We'll be travelling with our two kids who are 3 and 6 so I'm thinking the "cooler" weather of 20 degrees or so and the out-of-season quietness should actually suit us.

Anyone been to Tenerife in December before? Any tips / warnings / recommendations?

I was in Lanzarote about a month before you're going so close enough! Weather was balmy and in low 20s. I only go on holidays during school terms so it's quieter and more relaxing. There were a good few shops/restaurants closed down which was a bit of a draw back but still I think it's a good time of year to go. You tend to get good deals on hotels and flights too. The canaries gets very busy mid December again so I find Oct/Nov best time to go.

    Hi Sleepy,

Seems like a great deal. The apartments get high recommendations on TripAdvisor!

The Siam water park would be great for the kids and a trip to the Mount Teide volcano would be a great trip for the grown ups!
