    Hi.

I am currently looking for someone in the know to provide some advice. I plan to move my water tank from my attic to over my entrance hall, precast slab ceiling. The ceiling of this entrace hall is the height of the floor of my apartment as its a duplex. In future I want to change to Gas free the combi was a pump in the tank but I am concerned if it will work due to the requirement to notice a double presssure drop over a head height of 2.5m.

    The layout would be:

Mains -> Tank -> Pump -> Balanced Split-> Combi Cold Feeds In -> To bathroom via attic.

The combi will be approx 60cm above the tank and 1.8m below the attic floor height. Will this propose an issue.

Pump: D75 Submersible Pump Kit (inc. Ecopress pressure controller)
Notes: Maximum water column height from pressure controller to
highest point in system is 6 m.

Original plan was to fit pump to exisiting tank in attic to boiler on the wall above it so I suppose the same issue would be possible there.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
