I have been "advised" to go to Muintir Mhuire in Ladysbridge near Youghal in Cork. I think it is unhealthy that people should live together, eat together, sleep together, pray together and work together.

Some might even say it is cult like.... Another is Bishop John Magee is a Patron!!!

Has anyone been there or have any views

Magee is not a Member of Opus Dei. There are hundreds of Bishops who lend their Support to Opus Dei.

As for Living in a community, its not everybody's cup of tea. Opus Dei have done a lot of good, They are no way near a Sect. If you don't want to visit them, then don't. But Community live they they live of sorts, has been part of the Church for centuries.
