    Hi All,

Having problems with APN on all the time on the phone the last few days. It just started not turning off (was using an APN on/off widget).

I have uninstalled that widget and tried a few others, and have the same problems.

The only way I can turn it off is buy unticking "Use packet data".

    Any ideas?

    Thanks very much

Sounds very strange, have been using APN Droid for years now with no problems.
    Give that one a try?

IF you were using that, try clearing app data naad reinstalling ?
Sounds weird they're all giving you problems.

Am having further problems now that it wont, come on at all. Have tried setting up new APN settings and stuff and nothing. Wondering now if there may be network problems too as have had trouble sending simple text messages recently too.

Hmm, I'm not all too familiar with voda anymore, changed to meteor a while back, but I know if you factory reset it should just copy apn info directly from your sim card, but I don't think you wanna go down that road right now! If you do have to make sure to back up everything!

Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Lads I checked this with vodafone and they tell me it is a phone problem. (Samsung Galaxy S)

    Anyone heard anything like that?

Other people on the vodafone forum complaining of the same problem.
