Old time/Country Interiors

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of renovating an old time farmhouse type cottage and I would love some country theme pieces to accessorise some of the different rooms.

Could anyone recommend some stores I could have a ponder in. I know often some of these type stores are often tucked away in different counties and not necessarily in the cities.

I know Avoca (Dublin/Wicklow) have some lovely accessories and Rathwood down in Carlow but I was just wondering if anyone could direct me to some others that would be worth a visit. Also if there are any online stores worth a browse I would appreciate some ideas.

Hi there is the best shop between westport and castlebar, I think it's called avoca??? I'll double check that for ya? She said she would be going online, I don't know if she has yet??? It upsets me when I go in cause I want everything!!!!! Check out salvage yards and done deal also!!!!

Ikea in Ballymun do a range of country style furniture for all rooms,bedrooms and kitchens too.

Very good prices too.
