vacuum tanks

Have been looking around at new slurry tankers and want to know is it worth it to go for a recessed tank.
The two tanks would have the same capacity [1675 gall] ,pump.
the wheels bigger by 2 inchs width and 8 in height .
t he price difference is 2200.
Has any one switched tankers and how did they find it

thought there would be a bigger differance in the wheels - would you not go for a 2000g model on the bigger sized tyres, a tanker is not something you invest in every year or 2 so you may as well have a decent one

Sorry off topic here but what is a 'recessed' tank ? my tank has 'russian' wheels I think ....I can spread slurry even if ground is swaped ....so whats the difference in tanks ?

Recessed tanks are tanks with the tyres built into the tank ie. the sit under the tank as apposed to out the side eg. http://www.hellotrade.com/conor-engineering/recessed-tankers.html

Cheers iano93 ....my tank aint recessed so Id say the recessed tank would be easier on ground ? But id say they could over turn a lot easier on hills too ?

They are big fat tyres used on tanks for spreading on wet ground.
