Cheapest way is bus/taxi to Saltzburg rail station. Get the train and ask your accomodation to book a taxi to meet you. Austrian trains run perfectly on time.

Not cheap but easier is http://www.rainer-reisen.at/ €66 return - every two hours usually.

Great ski resort; don't miss a trip to the alpentherme and sauna world.

I did it by train from Munich airport, took about 3.5 hrs with a couple of connections.
