Put a CV. into argos few days ago coz i heard theyre hiring, pretty flexible work hours and good bit of experience so would expect least an interview, but do you have any idea how long it would take for a reply?

Once people get word that Places like Argos are hiring for chistmas and stuff, people pour in with CV's. When I worked in boots the same happened alot, we could get anything from 200/300 cv's per day, in one store.

So it might take awhile before they can go through every single CV before they get in contact, depending on how many got there before you.

I'm just guessing this is the way that they work, I don't know what the process is like there, but thats the way it happened in boots, newest went to the bottom of a huge pile.

They'll invite you to an induction night divide you into teams ect and then let you know if you got the job or not.
