    Anyone been getting pointless advertising in their inbox recently?

    Got two tonight (one from Spar and one student canvassing for the Presidental election). Can't really unsubscribe to the mailing lists either as msot stuff comes through on the ones used.

    Is there any way to make a complaint about them?

    Broken link here: http://www.dcu.ie/students/myweb.shtml#mailing_lists but I'd say ISS are hte folks to complain to and they'll probably tell you to find hte admin of the appropriate list.

    Other optoin is to create filters that mark mail as read and archive it. (Eg, ive dont that for careers and a few other "services" that regularly send mail to the list Im not interested in). Just have a quick look at the archive every once in a while in case something important slipped through
