Has anyone seen this programe before?

It's a phenomenal concept. You take an 'odd case', such as 'shadow people' and talk about the history of them in popular culture. Then you have a psychologist come on and talk about how it's a trick of the mind, or a post-structured event that changes over time. All his stuff is back up by scientific cases, trials, famous incidents. THEN some nutjob comes out and talks about how they arereal, how they predate humans and how they are dangerous, using theoretical physics (gravitons at present), claims of other dimensions and personal accounts.

It's a great insight to the human mind in so many ways. It's car crash telly in some ways, but it's hard to look away most the time.

I've seen it alright but turned off after a while. It's the National Inquirer of tv.

Go watch the Wonders of the Solar System over on the Eden channel instead...much more entertaining.

    Perfect description.

I actually liked the idea of these shows, but the editing and the repetition of crap shock-and-awe graphics really got on my nerves.

Probably mixing Fringe up with real life.

I always thought the Discovery Channel was fairly reputable (I've only got it recently)

After closer inspection of fishermen and bikers shouting at each other, a programme about ghosts and another about big trucks on ice, I see that it is not what I thought it to be - making this thread seem quite silly now.

Apologies, I thought Discovery was like the National Geographic channel!
