I work for a large organisation. There is this married man who used to work in my office. I got on well with him, anyway he moved to a different office. I would still see him regularly as he’d call over with some excuse or other. He did slightly flirt with me but I didn’t think anything of it. I know it was stupid of me but with seeing him & him emailing me I developed a small crush on him. So I told him, said I was disgusted with myself & was probably just because we were in contact with each other when there was no need to be. He said he was saddened to hear this but would always be my friend. I indicated I didn’t think it was a good idea for him to come to my office anymore. He respected this but last week he asked if he could call down for coffee. After what I told him is this strange or normal behaviour? I honestly thought that was it, I wouldn’t see him again. I don’t want to be attracted to a married man and am confused now. Why does he want to see me?

Cos he is like a dingo - he smells blood and is circuling his prey. The bottom line is he wants a fling and he senses you will give in if he is persistent... That's the bottom line.

What a cliche. He'll play you like a violin if you let him OP.

He's established you've got a crush on him and now that you've expressed same he's hoping to indulge in some no-strings sex with you with his infatuated coworker.....textbook cringe.

Meeting him for a coffee will not be innocent as well you know. He's married so he's not yours for the taking. Tell him you can't meet him - there's nothing to be confused about.
