Since learning to ride I have spent an unhealthy amount of time looking at photos of bikes and dribbling. So I thought it might be nice to have a thread dedicated to beautiful photos of beautiful bikes...

Like the rather nice "Sentoh" Honda:

    Or the fetching Sportster 1200:

Or the daddy of all sportsbikes the Vincent Black Shadow:

Anyone else got anything to share? :)

You have to admire the Japanese Builders , their attention to detail and workmanship is just second to none.
Like this CB1100 I can't post pics because its Flash.

If you're now 40 odd and come from Derbyshire, like I do... then this was bike porn when you were 16 years old.

Dunno - I have just come out of a classic car phase (sold a '68 Lotus Elan+2 to buy my bike) and so the idea of a classic bike appeals. Especially a classic british bike like a Triumph or Norton.

Having first hand experience of just how temperamental 30 and 40 year old machinery is though I would probably end up with the modern version just for peace of mind!

..ahh so you already have the imperial spanners. Get the old one! ;)

Personally I am drawn to anything with a Villiers.. one day, one day.

I had the MB50's brother, the MT50. Back then the Suzuki X7 was the king.
I had one of them too!

My brother had an MB50... I started on a TS50ER.. then a CB125.. LC250 or LC350 was the bike to get after you'd passed the "drive round the block twice" test.

I still think the ultimate sleeper bike would be a Mb50 with a H100 engine... oh and I'd need to be back at 8 stone to top 65mph!
