I know its not a great price but really the only danger is injury. The guy is an absolute goal-machine who wins this every year. He already has 2 and Barca still have the mighty Pilzen and Bate to come at home in the Group stages. They will obviously go far in the comp and Messi plays in every game. 9-4 mightnt look great but when you weigh everything up - its a very solid bet.

    Who's the 9/4 with?

Crazy, he was 7/1 last year. I remember someone tipped him to be top Cl goalscorer and someone also tipped Wilshere as young player of the year @ 10/1 both of which came in. I still kick myself for not doing that in a double. 87/1!

That was me that tipped him at 7-1 last year. I back him every year as he is the best bet of the season for me. He has won me thousands just by this bet. The bookies have finally copped on but still the 9-4 should be taken. Only PP and Boyles have him at 9-4, all the rest 2-1 and under - Lads have him at just 6-4

No value at that price even if it is Messi! Gomez and Ronaldo giving him a challenge this year!

    Ronaldo is only on 3.

Messi is one behind Gomez but Barca will almost definitely get further than Bayern.

    Gomez is 6/1 on Skybet,

    gonna have some of that

Id still fancy messi to win it even if he is a goal behind

Probably, but as long as Munich make at least the semi's, Gomez has been unreal this season,

they're will be great opportunity to lay at that stage with those odds

Messi and Gomez both have 5 goals each and lead the way. Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic and Rooney all have 3.

Wouldn't be so sure - Champions League final is in Munich and big chance Bayern will be seeded after group stage.

If Munich can avoid Barca and Real, they have a great chance of reaching the final but the 2 Spanish teams are way ahead of everyone else.
