iTunes & Home Sharing

    Sorry if this has been asked previously. Can iTunes Home Sharing be used on the same PC. My wife and I have separate profiles on our home PC, and with that a separate iTunes library and each library is synced to a different device. I want to transfer some stuff to my wife's library. Can this be done? Idiot proof answers please because I'm not that PC or iTunes savvy.

    If you have an external drive you could copy your stuff to it and then let you wife import it into her itunes?

    Do you need an external hard drive, if you have a public folder andif the music is there all profiles should have access to it.

    What is home sharing? I see options on music and movies? I have a laptop, an external hard drive, an I phone and I pad. How would I use home sharing with what i Have?

    You can use it to stream music to your other computers/devices.
