How much should we be paying for scaffolding for a two storey 3000 square foot house. We will be erecting the scaffolding ourselves. Is 1500 a good price for loaning this for 3 months?

The country is pretty much awash with scaffolding at the moment, maybe take a look at donedeal or buyandsell sites, there is a lot of second hand scaffolding for sale there.
It is important to note that all scaffolding should be erected by a licensed scaffolder to comply with the Health and Safety Authority regulations and codes of practice. Check your self build insurance policy in relation to their requirements for scaffolding

Hi miss bored- I would say yes its a good price.

I have been pricing the last couple of weeks myself for a 2500 dormer- prices range from 2.5k-3.5k to buy , I would the also have to pay delivery, erection and certififed then try to sell on next yr when complete.

In the end I went for a indefinite loan with delivery, erection & certification ,removal and insurance included for 2750.

    Good luck
