Hosting 2 sites on 1 hosting package

    Hi,

    I have 2 sites using the one hosting package.
    Site 1 is stored in the root of the server and works fine, shows up on search engines etc.
    Site 2 is stored in a subfolder. The site works fine when accessing it directly but does not appear through any search engine.

    I contacted technical support but they said it is an SEO problem but both sites have been set up identically regarding SEO stuff so I want to find out if it is a problem caused by the hosting setup.

    Support wouldn't help me. Has anyone on here any suggestions?
    Any help would be appreciated.
