    It's a 2.5" portable drive, ie doesnt require a power source.

    Note that its probably a 12.5mm drive inside, so if you were thinking of pulling the drive out to put in your laptop it won't fit.

    something odd happening with that product....I tried to buy but the price at checkout was £150...now is £80

    That went quite quickly alright..

    .. was still showing £39.95 on the website but when added to cart, it was £149.99.

    Could be a misprice.. or could be a very special price on a small amount of stock.

    For your info I had up on my screen at £39.95 while reading this thread. When I then refreshed the page up came the £76.99. :p:p:p
