Sky Replacement Box

ok I know you can get FTA on the sky box but I would like to replace that box with a nice HD box that allows me to record and series link. What are the best boxes to give this functionality. Currently investigating to see whether to give up Sky as much as I hate paying it the sky+ service is pretty good, but as I don't pay…

Currently investigating to see whether to give up Sky as much as I hate paying it the sky+ service is pretty good, but as I don't pay for HD channels and have a new HD tv I would like to maximise my TV investment.

yeah unfortunately won't deliver here.

has anyone bought the samsung? My tv and bluray are sammies so quite happy with what to expect just wonder what the EPG is like...and if it does anynet+ as I could have it all controlled with the one remote then.

so just about to buy this and was just wondering if anyone has any idea where it might be cheaper (other than the humax site which won't deliver ).

Cancelled sky tonight, all they offered was 25% off and 50% off HD sub..
