    Don't forget that any extras will attract extra VRT. It could also be vastlydifferent from your figure, depending on what figure the NCT pull out of the air on the day.

    I thought that extras were not considered on cars older than 4 years...

    As in the rate on extras decreases by 25% a year from new.

    extras make no difference on any car i ever vrt'd. though they were all from japan

    Also don't forget that you would probably buy the Irish car for €500 less. You will get very little discount in the UK. Also factor in cost of a flight over, taxi/train/bus, fuel, ferry and tolls. Also you may have to take a day off work. TBH I could see the UK car working out more expensive. Thats OK as long as you are aware of this before you commit.

    Actually disregard all that...I see it's in Antrim! (red face!)
