I'd like to see NZ win as they've been the best team in the comp by a good bit. They've also been the best team in the world for quite a while.

However, a little bit of me would like to see France win, just to see what would happen in NZ as a result.

They play the best brand of rugby, oodles of talent, and have been the best team for some time.

I just hope its a good game. I was so looking forward to the group game between these two that I left a night out early to make sure I was awake in time.

It turned out to be a massive dissapointment.

It's strange, this is a France team who have put in what must be their worst ever display in a world cup tournament, and they've already equaled their best ever result.

It is totally irrelevant how France have performed so far in this tournament. They are not the type of team to put in good performances in succession. Instead they perform brilliantly on occasion and between good and mediocre on others. They just need one sublime performance for 80 mins on Sunday next in order to win.The odds are stacked against them but what other NH team could pull it off?

I can only say the French World Cup experience has been a debacle! They've player poor in every single game. In the pool game against NZ there were times when it was so obvious that they didn't want to be there. In both their knock out games their opposition imploded. England forgot to tackle and gave away trys you wouldn't see in a minis game. 14 man Wales didn't kick their goals. For a team so talented to perform like they have is emabarrasing.

I genuinely hope NZ anhilate them.

If reaching a final while playing poorly is what constitutes a debacle I can only wish catastrophe and disaster on the Irish team for the future!

I'm going for France, more because of the underdog thing than the adopted country thing.

Why though? What would that gain? Would you not prefer to see the French back to their best in and make a memorable final? Would that not be better for the game and better to watch from a neutral perspective?

And I don't think England imploded, you only have too look at the Clerc try in that game to see the quality France are capable of producing

Whoever wins I just hope both teams play to their strengths because they can be the two most exciting teams to watch

The kiwis putting a cricket score on the French would make for a boring final and would do nothing for the game and I feel to see why anyone would want to see that happen regardless of how poor France were against Wales or in the pool

Everything about the French has been awful in the tournament. The coach has been giving out about the players, the players have been giving out about the coach, the coach says the players should stay in, the players go out, the brain dead ending to the Tonga game, everything is has been all over the place.

Wales had plenty of chances to put them out and failed to take them

The French destroyed the English in the first half and never really looked like losing that game

NZ. They're a good bunch of blokes and thoroughly deserve the win. Plus alot of Kiwi's supported Ireland in their matches.

I would like to see France turn it on though, and if they play out of their skins I'd hold them no ill grudge if they won. The previous games do not come into this.

France. Backed them at 16/1 after group phase. But i cant see them winning - i dont see one miracle performace emerging from them this world cup.

I think you overestimate the Corinthian idealism of the (often) casual rugby fan. If Ireland were in the WC Final, even by dint of the worst refereeing decisions in the history of the game, a series of injuries to key opposition players and jammy luck, I think you'd be in a small minority criticising the team.

France for Me. Although I seriously admire the NZ team.

But it's France because I really want to see the continued development of Rugby in the NH.

It's the same reason I wanted the three celtic teams to do well. It's an awful pity for me that Wales didn't make the final and Scotland didn't make the QF. Both would have been better for the progression and future of the Pro 12 I think.

Have to support France, they have never won it and it would be great for the competition. The Kiwis would kick up some fuss if they lost. I think that the fact that the French jersey represents the 2 times that they beat the All Blacks in previous world cups is class, would love to see them upset the favorites.

I'm not vilifying them for being in the final I'm vilifying them for being an awful team full of class players. They have so much potential but are performing so bad it's scary.

The Irish team got a lot of stick after the win against the US so while the casual and hardcore fan will be delighted to get to the final, the hardcore fan will be thinking we could have been so much more.

If France play like they did against Wales, or in the first match against New Zealand, they will deserve to get stuffed.

Not bothered about the final; I just want a game to remember. I hope Wales hammer Australia in the bronze match though. The likes of Jenkins, Lydiate, Priestland and Roberts deserve something to celebrate.
