Started my first home brewing kit last week with this one.

Took about 24 hours for any activity, but was bubbling healthily away for a few days. It slowed down a fair bit after that although was still bubbling every couple of minutes by Friday, which was the only time I had this weekend to move it, although was perhaps a bit early. Gravity had dropped from 1038 to 1010 and i tasted a sample and it tasted grand, with imagined chill factor and carbonation.

Since it has gone into the secondary it seemed as if it had pretty much died, and the temperature in the most constant room in the house had dropped to about 15 degrees (although fermenter is wrapped in a blanket). Started to bubble again, very slowly, maybe once every 5 minutes or so, this evening.

Just wondering if i was too hasty with moving from the primary. Should i wait until activity has died off next time, or will it sort itself out in the secondary anyway?

    Anyone else tried this kit?

You should wait until it dies off again, it should be fine

This beer is good! I liked it because it tasted nice!

Bottles didn't seem to be carbonating properly after sitting in a room that was a little on the cold side. 4 weeks later, still didn't seem to have carbonated, but finally got round to opening one this weekend to see how flat cerveza tasted, only to find once I opened the bottle that they were indeed carbonated despite their appearance.

    It tastes lovely too!
