Do Higher. You will be fine.
People will talk about having to do really long essays for the long questions, but that isn't true.

You will do much better then you think you will.

I understand what your saying... but its not me worrying about putting in the work, its just that im not sure of my ability when it comes to the subject... Also if i did do ordinary and honours everything... would not look a bit funny?

I was just wondering if ye have any ideas to test my ability...?

Do Higher Level. If you do terrible in the Mocks, then you can always drop down to Ordinary Level, but keep going with the Higher Level for now.

I have corrected History for JC.
I can tell by how you write your posts here you are well able for Higher Level. Don't let anyone talk you out of it.

Omg definitely do Higher!!When I was doing my junior cert(Im in 6th yr nw) I had the worst teacher EVER.He was never in,didnt finish the course(we didnt even do the Irish History section) and was just terrible altogether.I love history so I got myself the History revise wise and literally just studied that, but I studied it A LOT.you dont even do proper essays for the JC about 1 A4 page is more than enough for the 'essay' questions! You're still only in 2nd yr so you have lots of time too!Get yourself the history revise wise I think they're around 8 euro and study from that and you'll be grand-I ended up getting an A in higher level using it!Best of Luck :)

Do higher, the difference isn't really worth a drop in Level. Same goes for Geography. But, all the same, it's up to you bro.

The ones I would contemplate dropping to OL are Maths or Irish, where there is a significant difference.

Do higher. It's pretty much the same as ordinary anyway.

As someone who loves History, I'd say do higher :D
There isnt a huge difference, if you do your homework all year you should get an honour in it
