Been a while since I played it and I decided to dive back into it a few days. Completely forgotten how fantastic this game is. Gameplay and graphics are still solid to this day! Had a game there this afternoon where 7 nukes were set off. Absolutely unbelievable, I don't ever remember playing a match where more than 2/3 nukes had gone off.

Anyone else still playing/interested in some gameage?

Not really. On a good day you could have up 1000+ online, normally its around 500ish. It's hard to figure out exactly how many is online as the server browser just shows server matches about to start, not matches already in play.

Yea it is a pretty decent game with an excellent storyline... I always liked the 'painted' cut scenes

It is hard to believe its 4 years old now. I can remember playing it during the Christmas holidays :)

Wish I could find some batteries for my discman......

Actually is the Soviet Expansion pack worth buying? Looking at getting some games to play besides Medieval Total War 2 when I go home for Christmas.

I don't think you can buy the soviet pack on its own you have to re buy the original game with it I think, could be wrong.

I got the soviet add-on merged with the original game. The missions are great craic, I loved pushing the Ruskies back and then watching their propaganda about controlling the US. Never did play multiplayer thou.

played this when it came out from a mates copy but bought it again there a few months ago as it had the Soviet pack and really enjoyed playing it again
I only like the SP as I never play MP on RTS games as I know I would be crap

If you get the original, the only thing your missing out on is the soviet campaign, the multiplayer is the exact same.

Infact, both games multiplayer player pools are combined.

ohhhh loved this game, one of my top ten of all time (if i was playing the multiplayer with people who knew how to play). Infantry all the way....or support or armour....sometimes choppers. If there were still a few people playing it I would consider picking up a cheap copy. Went onto massgate, turns out I am unranked which sucks, might need to fix that
