Does anyone know if there's any sort of affordable student version of Ansys? Can't find any decent info on their site really. I'm doing a masters which uses FEA and Fluent.

If you are doing a research masters, you should talk to your supervisor about supplying this to you. Usually they will have the IT folks install a network package on your system.

I did CAMME at DCU which covers both FEA and CFD in both intro and advanced levels.
