Free Editing Software?

Got my Dazzle yesterday, hoping to get it set up in the next few days, just need 3 y splitter cables, and is it possible to set it up with ps3 without them?thanks Anyway, I was wondering if anybody could reccomend any free editing software, anything better then windows movie maker, would get Song Vegas but i'm only going to be doing some casual videos, not taking it too serious so not too pushed about spending much money Thanks for any future feedback!

No, it won't work without the splitters

WMM is the perfect programme for free. There's not really much better free one's out there

oh ffs! :mad: I got splitters off my mate, have everything set up from ps3>tv>dazzle>laptop and then when I go onto WMM theres nothing coming up on the screen! what a waste of money

WMM won't record the actual footage - you should have software with the capture device for that (if I'm understanding the post correctly). It is simply for tidying up and splicing what you capture.

oh right! ithought it did, because it said capture video? yeh problem is i have a netbook so no cd port from the install cd

Be careful with them drivers. I did the same and have it working and recording atm, BUT one of the drivers has been crashing my PC during recording.
