DHW to hear towel rail?

Wrapping up a bathroom job & it turns out the plumber ommitted to put a heating circuit to the bathroom for a towel rail, with already has UFH ( quite low temp) and DHW for showers etc. Unfortunately it is too far gone in the job to do much about it

Looking to get advice on the options available. First off is it possible to run the DHW supply to the shower ( the DHW is pumped) through a towel rad? If so, is there a specification of rad ( e.g. copper lined?) that works best?

Failing that, how to the elec ones compare to say running the towel rail of the UFH circuit. Any advice or experience would be really appreciated.

just get an electric one they work well, i wouldnt even consider the idea of running dhw water through it just for a start id imagine it would be a great area for water stagnation with all those bars etc , it would be a waste of hotwater on what in the grand scheme of things is a unecessary fixture as the room is heated by underfloor.
go with electric flick it on when jumping in the shower its defo the best option in this situation.

You can run the direct water system through the copper lined towel rails but they are very very expensive. So much so i would go electric.

I doubt your plumber had anything in mind about the hygenic situation. Is the towel rail/radiator and it's connections food grade ? Designed for potable water ?

Thanks for the responses, still investigating the option, think that an alu radiator might be OK in the DHW but need to verify further

You will also need to bring a return back to the cylinder for circulation other wise the towel warmer wont heat up. would taking two heating pipes from an adjacent room be an option?

Its underfloor in rest of house , honestly i cant reccomend electric towel rail enough in this situation , its the best value option . as the room is heated by underfloor anyway.

Sorry my mistake, I thought it was low temp electric underfloor in the bathroom only.
Electric towel warmer would be the best and cost effective way.

as long as the appliance that the dhw was running the rad would heat up,same as a one pipe system.

i wouldnt advise running dhw through a towel rail at all, corrosion and if there was any problems down the line with further work it would be a disaster!
electric towel rail is the only way..
