The game is on saturday 5th november at Thomond. I'm not a fan of League nor have I ever been to a RL game but it's €5 for a student ticket so I'm there!

    €10 for adult, €5 for students/schoolkids and €20 for a 2+2 family ticket.

Unreal value for a game IMO (although I know little about the quality of teams)

Who should win this and will the teams be at full strength?

On paper France should win. They are ranked 5th in the world whist Ireland are 11th.

I can't see the Franch squad named anywhere but based on last year i would expect it to have a strong Catalan influence with the Toulouse and Lezignan clubs making up the majority of the rest of the squad.

Ireland will have their usual mix of SL, Championship and domestic players and as usual will give their all.

France will be aiming to top the group and gain entry into next years four nations (as will Ireland and Scotland) and I expect France to achieve this.

Winners just get bragging rights. its next years that a 4 nations spot is up for grabs.

France in turmoil with Goulding handing in his resignation. (not gone yet though)

Bobby Goulding resigning is a way of life, it was regular when he was coach at Rochdale and twice we took him up on his offer
