    The Inspirational Story of Garvan Byrne - I thought it worth sharing!

    Garvan was born with a rare disease that made him stop growing at age 5. He passed away at the age of 12, but not before leaving behind a video that will really touch you. He was a warrior for Christ with unshakable faith.

    What great faith from one so young, very intelligent for his age - may he rest in peace!

    Ignore the trolls cyber! ;)

    A warrior for a God that took his life at the age of 12. Not inspirational, just sad to see a young lad lose his life so early.

    This young boy didn't lose his life. He gained it.

    Let he who has ears listen....

    I'm pretty sure he lost his life, under any description.

    Its from children we need to take inspiration in terms of faith, as Christ himself said. Its not a great surprise to see such faith in a child. Its more surprising to see it in us cynical adults:)

    No, but I know that the OP is exploiting the death of a child to expand his religious views. I find it morally reprehensible to be honest.

    Yes it is apparently a poor attempt to rationalise the actions of a supposedly loving god in the face of actions that appear to be anything but loving.

    So you have no idea about the good news of the kingdom, and make such presumption?
    I find it morally reprehensible to be honest.

    You are free to think that way, but it doesn't remove the fact that this child gained their life, while many who are living have lost theirs.

    1 Corinthians
    18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:
    “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
    the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”[c]
