    Anyone suffering through his interview on RTE radio? Lord above. I was beginning to think he was the best of a bad bunch, maybe he still is but I fear a Presidency every bit as annoyingly verbose as Mary Robinson.

    I'd rather a Mary Robinson style Presidency any day to a DeValera/Hillery style one. She changed the Presidency in a very positive way and you should be thankful for that.

    Came out fighting as far as I could see. He put the pleasant Higgins in the box in order to tackle the points that Gallagher seem to be winning on, head on. I was impressed by his rhetoric.
