Here's instruction. http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01758220.pdf page 105. To get fan unit out of the heatsink you need to take out 4 tiny screws, then you can clean area between fan and radiator. Also take fan out of the axis, clean it and grease it. You will also need heat sink compound (for cpu) and maybe 1 or 2 new thermopads for gpu and/or northbridge.
