One of the best ending re edits i've ever seen below, i kinda think it suits better than the original

I watched it parts of it once, thought it was boring, generic, watched again recently along with Fight Club for the first time

    MIND BLOWN

now my two favourite film of mine from the late 1990's, so much going on

and no I've haven't being living under a rock for the last decade

Sorry mate - original ending tune far better IMO -

I'm a monster Bourne fan, but never liked the moby tune associated with the credits...

Yup Rage works a lot better. And the lyrics fit thematically too.

Nope. Rage works better for Matrix and Moby works better for Bourne. That re-edit is just limp.

As a bit of trivia here is where the Matrix phonebox scene is located.

You can even see the Sydney Harbour bridge in the background behind Neo even tho I believe it's supposed to just be "any city".

Also as a nice touch when he flys up into the sky the overhead view even matches the street location IRL. Nice!

Are all the agent Smiths a single consciousness or independent? The Smith/Oracle is clearly a scary super Smith and the Smith in a skin-bag is individual. But after the 100th time seeing it just occurred to me, is it "we are smith" or "I am smith".

What a truely spectacular film that has stayed with me through the years.

A very poor sequel and a tragic third film.

    Original finishing tune wins.

I dont know how many times I've watched that movie. What a fantastic idea and brilliant execution by wachowski brothers.

Agreed, the 2nd / 3rd movies were such a let down.

I think they're just copies of the Smith essence, smith 101 derives from the Smith template as does smith 102, smith 103 and so on. Each copy of smith has its own individuated existence but they all share in the essence of Smithness.

I always thought Smith was an object. In computer programming an object is an instance of a class
