    Yep, it's the High King

    I prefer the offical one

Same in Tipp, they replaced the offical crest with their cheap looking design

I was told that since the GAA don't own the old county crests they couldn't have exclusive use on replica jerseys and so anyone could manufacture the replica jerseys.

So they designed new ones for the counties and only the GAA and the offical sellers are allowed use them, ca-ching :)
    Good business decision realy

State of Louths, their most famous feature is the Boyne bridge?

Galway is unique in having 2 seperate crests.
One for Hurling and one for Football.
Even the team jerseys differ between the two codes.
The Hurlers wear a much darker shade of Maroon than the Footballers.

The contrast and different crests are clearly visable on the homepage of the County website.

Didn't they change the crest though, I think the new one just has a Brigids cross

As a Tipp man I actually prefer the "new" crest. The Rock is a recognisable feature nationwide and the design is easy on the eye.

Maybe it was changed because the bridge is in Meath? Didn't know it had changed, cheers ;)
