    Hi

I wash my teeth throughly every night and use alcohol free mouth wash. I do have any teeth in need of treatment as I get them checked regularly.

However I do wake up with smelly breath.

I am just wondering is there anything I can do to reduce this

    Thank you

    M

This is reasonably common as your salivary flow reduces during sleep reducing it's cleansing action...
Obviously the first thing to check is your teeth and gums (gum disease, impacted wisdom teeth, decay etc)...
    Next is sinus trouble etc
Next is stomach problems, do you get reflux/ heartburn etc

Has someone told you of this or do you just notice it yourself...? It may only be noticeable to yourself and imperceptible to others

    Good luck,
    OS
