HTC Wildfire S, internal memory issue..

Have a wildfire S, since June, only apps that i have installed that are in internal memory and cannot be moved to SD card are Viber and whatsapp which take up a total of 17MB between them, but only have 9/150MB free....
Pics (of which there are not many) are stored on SD card, have deleted all texts and cleaned the cache, moved anything i can to the SD card but still low in memory.

Would anyone have an idea of what i could do to increase the internal memory please???

    Thanks so much
    BG :)

Also, as a separate issue maybe.... my gmail won't sync with the phone anymore.... it was working fine up until earlier this week, emails arrived to phone in real time, but now nothing, even when i try to manually sync... Any ideas on this too? :(

Which network did you buy it from? I bought mine with vodafone and with all their crap installed I only had 60mb free. I debranded it and got 125mb.

You see all the vodafone apps in the menu and the vodafone logos that come on when you turn it on? By debranding it removes all of that and replaces it with the stock HTC software, basically removes all the rubbish networks put on the phones.

I have no idea what vodafone put on it but after I did it I had another 65mb free so ~125mb free in total. The only thing is by doing it your phone is totally wiped and reset as if it was the first time it was powered on.

Sorry for hijacking your thread BG ;) but I have two questions

1)Where can you debrand a phone?
2)Is it better to buy a phone unlocked if you can?

Should I just save anything on my phone then do a factory reset on it?

Numerous threads on this on the forum, just use the search function, I myself was plagued by the internal memory shizzle, then I found a guide that sets apps to default install to sd card, whether or not the app supports it or not -

    See the thread below!

Regarding the stuff that Vodafone stuffs into the phone whether you like it or not, are not removable unless you can S-off and root the phone, in order to S-Off you need an Xtc clip, thats what im looking to get done at the moment and there doesnt seem to be anyone on the forum that has one and is willing to help....

There is a slight chance that HTC themselves will unlock the bootloader of the phone like they have been doing to the higher end phones, but you could be waiting a while!

Incorrect, you can remove it by replacing it with the offcial htc rom which does not require s-off.
I'll dig through my bookmarks later and will post up a link, full instructions are in it. Backup your contacts and whatever else you you want to keep but drag them to your pc to be safe - do not keep them on the sd card only.
